You can say I am back from my imposed hiatus. However, I will not be looking for sponsors for my other blog; Katnip Times. I will do the periodic entry for fun as I want to gently ease myself back into blogging.

Anyway, back to Nederlandse Bergen. I saw a fellow photographer from Second Life share their own landscape (link here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/sandilaine1/53645532218/in/pool-14864214@N23/) on Flickr in my photo feed.

I admit I did change the default EEP to set a different mood and for me, I love how you feel like a rainstorm about to hit.

I love the sim because it has an old-fashioned holiday resort feel. It is adorably quaint, a bit different in a good way though small but nothing wrong with small, well not to me anyway!

If you read the Katnip Times which is also written by me; then you know that is on hiatus and I hate to say this but The Wandering Neko SL has to go the same way.

I'm only doing photos within in SL when inspiration strikes me as I'm struggling to feel any inspiration and passion for my blogs however I do plan to return to my blogs.  I got a lot going on in my real life which is the cause of my lack of passion for my blogs at the moment.

Much love always

Seren

Christmas is creeping ever closer, though I do think this train won't be going anywhere anytime soon with a deer on the tracks, as it is very much an oh-dear moment!  Sorry, I couldn't resist that very dodgy/bad pun, I do love trains so I loved seeing this train even if it was held up.

I do hate snow in life but I do love seeing the snow-covered sims within Second Life, though I'm far happier in real life to stay indoors away from the snow with a hot drink in my hands and keep warm.

I know I haven't posted much to this blog recently but October is my busy month as I have a charity event I support and blog for. Then I fell ill which knocked me off my proverbial paws for a little bit to boot so the focus shifted to getting better and pleased to report that I am now fully better.

However enough rambling from me, I recently visited Astoria as winter is incoming in the Northern Hemisphere, I came across the penguins and polar bears which I both love (though in actuality they live in different parts of the world so this wouldn't happen in life, only in SL) as well cute snowmen but I do suggest you wrap up warm and cosy!

My other favourite time of year is Halloween; I love exploring SL's haunted/creepy/Halloween-themed sims and this is one of the many fave sims I love to explore.  I like trying to find new Halloween sims to explore as well as Halloween-themed rides to go on as I recently discovered a new one I love however I need to find out if I can do photos in mouse lock on Blackdragon so if anyone knows how to do so then please let me know - many thanks.

Autumn/Fall has landed in the Northern Hemisphere, it is one of my fave of the four seasons because of all the different colours and opportunities to jump in leaf piles or crunch through fallen leaves.  Then I can dig out my cosy, snuggly jumpers to put with my jeans and boots which is one of my Fall/Winter outfits because I am warm and cosy; then is warming foods of bowls of soup etc.  I really don't need to add more because I think you get the idea that I love Autumn!

For me personally, there is something quite dramatic about seeing a shipwreck and I love how this shipwreck differs so much from one on The Forgotten sim as this one feels like it was due to a storm or bad weather in general.

However the sim is under construction, someone does have a home so please bear that in mind when you do visit as it does let you know when you wander; I admit I did edit this shot; it is two EEPs lapping over the top of each other but for me, it just adds to the drama of the shot.

What I loved about Serenity Oileáin was it was not just pretty flowers, I saw flamingos whilst there was so much to find and I think I take another look around to see what else I can discover.  It just gave very peaceful, tranquil vibes which for me is always good thing as I find places like that more enjoyable as where I live can be very full on so quiet places for me allow me to recharge and reconnect with nature like this sim did for me.
