I love how our little planet has so many different habitats with different animals. We need to preserve and look after Earth as we have so many beautiful animals as we lost many majestic animals as it is.
This sim I half expected to see Tarzan swinging on the vines but alas no, lol! However I did hear the Um Bongo song from the Um Bongo advert from the 80s in the UK, I'm sure my fellow UK readers of a certain age, know exactly what the advert I mean and here is a link (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wYj5o4kQsXs to the advert for non-UK readers.

Okay, a bit later but I was having problems adding this photo to my blog entry but it has been resolved.
I loved the Tuscan feel to this sim, it had a very serene feel whilst I was there. I could imagine sitting in a cafe on the sim, drinking a latte with my wife without a care in the world. I can even imagine sitting on the beach under a umbrella with a good book too, just that peaceful.

What I love about revisiting sims I have been to before is how the creators change it for the seasons, whether it is winter to summer or even for Halloween. I just admire the transformation the sims undergo.
Hence why I revisited Astoria as it was winter the last time I was there; now it is all summery and has different areas. I chose to visit the
Zen Gardens area as I love Asian culture as it fascinates me, down to food or
even feng shui and their religions.
I could easily sit and meditate in their Zen Gardens as so peaceful, tranquil, and relaxing; I shall return to do so before the sim changes again.

You can say I am back from my
imposed hiatus. However, I will not be looking for sponsors for my other blog;
Katnip Times. I will do the periodic entry for fun as I want to gently ease
myself back into blogging.
Anyway, back to Nederlandse Bergen. I saw a fellow photographer from Second Life share their own landscape (link here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/sandilaine1/53645532218/in/pool-14864214@N23/) on Flickr in my photo feed.
I admit I did change the default EEP to set a
different mood and for me, I love how you feel like a rainstorm about to hit.
I love the sim because it has an old-fashioned holiday resort feel. It is adorably quaint, a bit different in a good way though small but nothing wrong with small, well not to me anyway!
If you read the Katnip Times which is also written by me; then you know that is on hiatus and I hate to say this but The Wandering Neko SL has to go the same way.
I'm only doing photos within in SL when inspiration strikes me as I'm struggling to feel any inspiration and passion for my blogs however I do plan to return to my blogs. I got a lot going on in my real life which is the cause of my lack of passion for my blogs at the moment.
Much love always

Christmas is creeping ever closer, though I do think this train won't be going anywhere anytime soon with a deer on the tracks, as it is very much an oh-dear moment! Sorry, I couldn't resist that very dodgy/bad pun, I do love trains so I loved seeing this train even if it was held up.
I do hate snow in life but I do love seeing the snow-covered sims within Second Life, though I'm far happier in real life to stay indoors away from the snow with a hot drink in my hands and keep warm.

I know I haven't posted much to this blog recently but October is my busy month as I have a charity event I support and blog for. Then I fell ill which knocked me off my proverbial paws for a little bit to boot so the focus shifted to getting better and pleased to report that I am now fully better.
However enough rambling from me, I recently visited Astoria as winter is incoming in the Northern Hemisphere, I came across the penguins and polar bears which I both love (though in actuality they live in different parts of the world so this wouldn't happen in life, only in SL) as well cute snowmen but I do suggest you wrap up warm and cosy!

My other favourite time of year is Halloween; I love exploring SL's haunted/creepy/Halloween-themed sims and this is one of the many fave sims I love to explore. I like trying to find new Halloween sims to explore as well as Halloween-themed rides to go on as I recently discovered a new one I love however I need to find out if I can do photos in mouse lock on Blackdragon so if anyone knows how to do so then please let me know - many thanks.
