I love how our little planet has so many different habitats with different animals.  We need to preserve and look after Earth as we have so many beautiful animals as we lost many majestic animals as it is.

This sim I half expected to see Tarzan swinging on the vines but alas no, lol!  However I did hear the Um Bongo song from the Um Bongo advert from the 80s in the UK, I'm sure my fellow UK readers of a certain age, know exactly what the advert I mean and here is a link (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wYj5o4kQsXs to the advert for non-UK readers.

Christmas is creeping ever closer, though I do think this train won't be going anywhere anytime soon with a deer on the tracks, as it is very much an oh-dear moment!  Sorry, I couldn't resist that very dodgy/bad pun, I do love trains so I loved seeing this train even if it was held up.

I do hate snow in life but I do love seeing the snow-covered sims within Second Life, though I'm far happier in real life to stay indoors away from the snow with a hot drink in my hands and keep warm.

I know I haven't posted much to this blog recently but October is my busy month as I have a charity event I support and blog for. Then I fell ill which knocked me off my proverbial paws for a little bit to boot so the focus shifted to getting better and pleased to report that I am now fully better.

However enough rambling from me, I recently visited Astoria as winter is incoming in the Northern Hemisphere, I came across the penguins and polar bears which I both love (though in actuality they live in different parts of the world so this wouldn't happen in life, only in SL) as well cute snowmen but I do suggest you wrap up warm and cosy!

I just liked how quiet and tranquil this sim was, plus so much nature to see as seen in the photo with the mama bear and her cubs which was so adorable!  Many other animals on the other side of the bridge was a stork I believe, however, I could be wrong as all I know it was some kind of bird!  Either way so much more to see, just nice for some R&R or reflecting on stuff.

I always wanted to go scuba diving or snorkelling exploring the hidden depths of the sea in life, this will be the closest I guess I will get to it. Then that is the beauty of Second Life, it allows you to do things, you can't or are impossible to do in life for whatever reason that is!  Albeit this sim is small in size but to me that makes it even more charming.

Elvion: this sim made me think about what would happen if sea levels increase with global warming which is all a real possibility as where I live in the UK is a high-risk area.  Hopefully don't happen within my lifetime, well that's the hope anyways.

However did appreciate how they captured how they felt global warming would affect us all, that was really cleverly done and I do love the drama behind some of the areas on this like the above photo.

I will be the first to admit I love beach/seaside sims within Second Life; I find something relaxing and almost therapeutic about the sound of the sea crashing on the coastline but then always find myself happier when in the water.  I just loved that I could sit somewhere quietly, enjoy the sounds of the sea as well as admire the lighthouse in distance. I admit for this photo that I did change the windlight or EEP but I wanted the light from the lighthouse to stand out slightly more.

Moosehead Lake

Moosehead Lake really reminded me of camping holidays I had by lake many years ago as a small child so for me, it was childhood reminisce; which was one of the endearing reasons I enjoyed this sim.  Albeit a small sim to walk around, but very nature-based and just felt like I needed to pack the mozzy spray (mozzy = mosquitos; to those who don't understand what I mean); be great if you wanted to do a faux fishing photo.
